January babies
I celebrated birthdays with two of my adorable kids.
G’s birthday came first. I’ve s seen G for therapy since end of 2006. After I started work in Taiping, I could not see him as often anymore due to my busy schedule here.

We went to Mcdonald’s. Besides, me and G’s family, J was also there. J came together with his mother and lil sister. G has turned 7 years old and is attending a normal primary school. So far, he’s doing very well there.
It must have been more than half a year since I last saw him. I was very surprised to have heard him take the initiative to ask his brother, “Do you want apple pie or french fries?” It’s a big thing for a child with autism.
It was very nice seeing G again, and to see how much he has grown. I miss him already.

It was a coincidence that XY’s therapy session fell on her birthday. She turned 5 that day.
I’ve been seeing XY for therapy since May 2007. At that time, she has just worn hearing aids a few months earlier and has no speech yet. Now she is able to communicate with simple sentences.
Recently, XY has been found to have progressive hearing loss. Therefore, hearing aids will not be able to help her much longer. She’s now in the process of getting a cochlear implant.
XY is a very adorable and lovable child. She has such bright disposition despite her inability to hear. She’s just like a sunshine.
I can’t help but develope an attachment with many of my kids, since I see them so often, with some over years.
I truly love my job for this wonderful aspect.
